    Damn didn’t he say he was paying $800 to rent there? He called it a rip off back then. Almost doubled when he moved out unfortunately. People are stupid to pay $1400/month for that, remodeled or not.

      1400$ a month for a such a shit hole small apartment is beyond insane to me. Is this normal in America? I just bought my own house and I pay a little over 700$ a month on the loan. And it has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big lawn and good space between other houses so I can pretty much tan naked if I want, and everything is brand new. I live in Norway.

      The remodel here is a pretty basic upgrade to a tiny kitchen. Even then, it fits all wonky, just look at how the pantry isn’t accessible.
