Also, anyone else noticed that Ian’s excuse for not being able to work has gone from depression and ADHD to having “no fixed address”? Which one is it Ian? As long as it’s not your fault right? Shows up to his hometown that he spent 2+ decades in and can’t find one person to let him stay the night on a couch. Presumably he’s burned all his bridges or he expects more than just a couch (twin or larger bed, air conditioned, given food and energy drinks, room has to have a TV). I know that if I was real down on my luck, I could probably think of 2 dozen family members and friends I could go to to help me out while I get back on my feet, maybe more. Ian has done so much damage he literally has no one. And he still won’t admit any of it is his fault.
ITS INSANE THAT HES TOO PROUD TO SLEEP ON THE STREETS BUT NO PROBLEM BEGGING FOR MONEY. HE WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPT LESS THAN A HOTEL ROOM. HE HAS NOTHING AND STILL WANTS BETTER THAN HOMELESS PEOPLE. AT THIS POINT HES A BUM BECAUSE IVE SEEN BUMS WALKING AROUND WITH PHONES HUEHUEHUE
He can’t beg on the street because then he can’t pretend to be an intellectual and it’s too “below him”, never mind I don’t think people would give to a guy in dress clothes and a jacket. Ian has dug himself into such a deep hole I don’t even think he can get out of it honestly. Sooner or later he’ll be forced to stay in shelters and go to soup kitchens. And at that point his ability to get a job drops even further (not like he wants one now anyways). Had he taken a look in the mirror a couple months ago he could’ve found a couch with a friend, and stayed for a few weeks/months while he worked some shit job just to get on his feet. Now that is basically impossible. He’ll have a couple more weeks of hotel living and e begging before that well runs dry too

Fuck it he could still easily get out of this misery, just go to the nearest FastFood joint or supermarket or cafe/bar whatever and get a job, do it for a few months and get the cheapest fucking room possible, save up some money and search for an entry office job or whatever, I mean he should be able to do it easily. But yeah his pride and entitlement wont allow him to do these things.
yep, he has a bank account for begging readily enough, and banks even do special accounts for homeless people to get back into society regardless. Makes zero sense as an excuse.
