I agree, ultimately it’s always his ego standing in his own way, separating himself from other people, he really just wants to be superior.
I also almost feel he has a certain element of pride in the fact that his depression would cost him 25k to get treated. Almost like some sort of humblebrag lol.
Like: “Look guys, I am so far above all of you because I am special, normal medication or treatment doesnt work on me!”
As long as it’s still a “drug” he wont do it but if a doctor prescribes him the exact same chemical it’s good I guess. Weee.
