Actually the doctor is smart. He saw how stupid Lan was and dollar signs flashed up where his eyes should be. He can milk this total moron for $50k by just playing along with his delusions.

“HMM, yes I see. So you eat like shit, have no sexual or life partner, no job, no responsibilities, don’t go outside and have no purpose in life? This is going to require a very extensive list of very expensive medications to fix.”

      Feeling the blues? Medication

      Bored in school? Medication

      Suck at your job? Medication

Ever a possibility that your feelings and habits are normal? Nope, medication. Psychiatrists are the people who manipulate idiots like Ian into feeling like they can’t function without dope.

I am depressed since years tbh and yes I kinda agree.

I kinda lack the force or power or circumstances to change certain important things in my life which make me deeply unhappy, and my theory is that the depression is just the body shutting off feelings in general to make it hurt less.

Unfortunately it seems to do the opposite though because that feeling of being dead inside is worse than feeling sad or angry or whatever imo. Feeling angry at least will give you power to do something, be it destructrive or constructive. Feeling sad will help you cope with things and get over them. Being dead inside wont really help in most cases.

But I remember how it was before I felt like that, life was truly so different.

Now atm the question is this: does my life suck because I am depressed or am I depressed because my life sucks? I guess it’s a bit of both.

Good post as usual fanbuddy, truly appreciate it. I will try my best. That’s honestly a reason why I really would like to see Ian succeed eventually as well, but he seems so far off imo because he has no humility and self reflection whatsoever.

Continues to blame everything on others, of course, because it’s the easier way.

I think so too in the vast majority. I leave a small chunk to people whose brains and neurotransmitters were wired wrong. Other than that, they are just enabled mental midget faggots.

Should instead just spend money on shotgun and 1 box of 12GA slug and inhale some High velocity lead, good deal take deal

Why pay 25k for that when you can just get some psychedelic mushrooms or LSD and have nearly the same effect? Of course these drugs work a bit differently but still similiar enough imo.

LSD and shrooms are being researched for depression as well but for Dr. Ian of course this doesnt count.

As long as it’s still a “drug” he wont do it but if a doctor prescribes him the exact same chemical it’s good I guess. Weee.

Just a little I f-in love science reddick mentality.

I agree, ultimately it’s always his ego standing in his own way, separating himself from other people, he really just wants to be superior.

I also almost feel he has a certain element of pride in the fact that his depression would cost him 25k to get treated. Almost like some sort of humblebrag lol. Like: “Look guys, I am so far above all of you because I am special, normal medication or treatment doesnt work on me!”

Its even funnier because functioning adults will recommend something much more affordable and viable for him all the time (try smoking weed, get ahold of some mushrooms, etc.) and Lan will almost always belittle the idea and person by saying thats not “in the literature”. Because the way Lan has been doing things is going so well for him. Another indicator of how much of a manchild he is, in that he’s got no idea the true value of money. 25K for ketamine and a stitch? Sounds reasonable.

I did about six ketamine treatments a few years ago to help with depression and addiction. I don’t recall it really helping too much but it’s the most high I’ve ever been by far.

His therapy should be North Korean or Chicom labor camp for a few months. Juss a little wake up call to sober up from delusions.
