He’s a low IQ cookie cutter materialist that thinks he knows what’s best for him but very clearly doesn’t. I can understand dismissing some of the maniacs, but he also dismissed the warnings of his genuine, older, wiser friends (Andrew and Brad) who perfectly called what was gonna happen to him. They say you get developmentally stunted when you’re an addict, and Nate behaves like someone much younger and less mature than he is, he’s a manchild. Also clear that he became far more interested in getting views and following stupid trends and doing the whim of his whores then bettering himself or at least surrounding himself with people that actually cared about him.
