Lenny is too cowardly to face his father. He has litally no job or responsibility in life now yet still won’t go see him. If he doesn’t do it now when he has litally nothing going on then he never will unfort.
his father is the ultimate villain here though, you can literally trace back every major issue to his childhood psychological abuse. ffs, lenny has been trying to meet his father’s expectations his entire life, he never got over the football high school phase, and once he graduated he transitioned to bodybuilding, which makes sense because his father was a pro football player and an amateur bodybuilder. lenny’s whole life purpose has been eating/sleeping/growing to try and impress his dad, what has he done with his life other than lift weights at the gym, fuck trannies and work menial jobs? he actually needs this more than us, unironically
