Listening to the old podcasts and it’s weird hearing Lenny alive, spouting all his bullshit. His old man really did a number on him. I wonder if he believed half of what came out of his mouth. I’m on ep 24 and he’s busting Brad’s balls for “liking” football but then turns around and says he watches one game a week. His tough guy talk really rings hollow now because he showed over and over what a pussy he truly was. That’s the most entertaining part to me, listening to him embarrass himself. All that sleeping. All that eating. All the money wasted on food and gear for him to die alone in his dead mommy’s house. It saddening.

Lenny was a mentally broken man. Hiding his depression and loneliness with his macho persona. Never facing the fact he was a hypocrite addicted to porn, sex and PEDs. His unwillingness to admit his problems and his mental trauma from his childhood is what did him in. He was entertaining and downright inspiring at times with his talk of never giving up and carving your own path in life.
But beneath all the ments he was a shell putting on an act, the ultimate cookie cutter in certain ways. That is my armchair, Jay masters psychology take on him. It is a tragic case and he should’ve been able to get his life together if he was able to admit he had issues.

I’m a big guy myself and I’m thankful for that because I’ve avoided a lot of bullshit from people just by being big. I’m 6’2”. Stocky. Not like shredded or anything. Powerlifting/strongman blocky build and yeah I never made it my personality. I never was an asshole either.
