Lenny had the most impressively fucked up life there is. So many missed opportunities, so much self sabotage, such a messed up upbringing, tortured all his life by regret and unable to fight his demons/addictions.
If Lenny had never existed and someone wrote about a fictional character that went through what Lenny did and managed to fuck up so spectacularly, people would call the story absurd and unbelievable.
I’ll say though, no matter how much Lenny screwed up in life, he will be remembered. Not necessarily in a good light since he destroyed his reputation after World’s Gym closed, but he will be remembered for longer than most people.
In a way, you could say he achieved freak status, just not in the way he really desired.

If Andjew hadnt filmed him, no one would have ever known about him. Crazy to imagine.
I posted about this before but the entire Delray misfits and Genova saga is like a fever dream. Funny videos of dudes working out turned into a tropical storm of piss, drama and lies. Every one of them had a crazy personality and together they merged into something wonderful that we still talk about and enjoy years later. The misfits are eternal

Too bad a huge chunk of Janoy’s content is seemingly lost forever.
Altho sv3rige revived his entire channel and retrieved all his videos after a 3 years suspension. He received an email one day saying he could get his channel back with one click and it worked.
Some right wing channels that were taken down before covid have been brought back the same way.
The most insane part is even the comment sections were preserved by youtube.
So maybe one day Janoy’s channel will be back somehow? One can dream.

I do not think Jason can escape his want for fame and attention. Once granny dies Jane might let off and he goes back to social media. At worst once Jane dies in a DUI accident he will start up again. Keep in mind Lenny died young (18) due to his drugs and lifestyle. Andrew, Brad, Jay will all be alive and well in a few years. Jane and Granny doesn’t have long.
You never know what can happen, friendships can be reconciled. But tbh I dislike Jason I only like the misfits. Jay is a lost cause so once Andrew gets the urge to film again and Brad gets bored without a woman to suck his cawk after delivering the mail we might get something.
Then again would it even be the same without Lenny?
If Jane dies it’s 100% over for Jason.
Jason is legally disabled and requires a guardian. If Jane dies, guardianship goes to Duncle who hates Jason with a passion and will for sure put him in a home for retards.
The day Jane dies, Genova is basically gone forever.

No. Thats why Andrew often said to Jason, Jane has to give her written consent, so Jason can accompany them on future trips (that never really happened anyway).

Lenny achieved freak status. Meanwhile little fairies like JT are living a cardboard cutout existence. Day in and day out doing the same shit. Go to the boxing gym for a while to show off for the underage girls, go for a jog on the beach with his shovel, maybe smoke a cigar, and then ride off into the sunset on his Harley like a little fairy
