I think it was 2010 or 2011 and someone posted on the Misc Janoy talking to himself at home. I think it was a Christmas or birthday party I can’t remember exactly unfort. At first I was like who is this retard?! But then I opened my heart to the piss and it started to flood in causing arrythmias unfort. One day someone coined the term Genova’s Witness and I had a good laugh for 3, 4, 2.5, 7 minutes and I was hooked.
This is what’s so fucked up about the whole ordeal since 2020 - we’re being deprived of our Piss Lord and savoir but you don’t ever hear about it in the media!

He was posted on /fit/ in the early 2010s. I ignored it until i clicked on a DRM episode, 60-70 something.
I was so confused by the fact that a grown man was following around a seemingly mentally ill, delusional young kid (i thought Janoy was in his 20s).
I kept watching and i remember initially cringing so hard when i witnessed Jason’s delusions.

I, unfortunately, found out about the Misfits well after the piss-warm waters of Lake Cresva had run dry. I think it was 2019 or so. That was around when I first started working out, so I was watching a lot of cookie cutter slop about programming and diet and whatnot. I kept seeing videos about the Misfits and Lenny in particular in my recommended, but I figured it was more of the same, so I never bothered to watch any of it. I can’t remember what made me check them out, whether it was /fit/ or maybe the Danknet or Beige videos, because I know I watched those around the same time.
But anyway, I started watching the Delray Misfits videos in order around that time. Going through all of the classic ments and going back to watch the old Spaniard videos and side videos with Brayud. It was always sort of melancholy for me because even though I was totally enamored with this lolcow gym-verse, I knew that all of the good times had already passed. Somehow, I didn’t know about the Misfits podcast at the time, so when I discovered that later, it was another source of ments after the videos has ceased. I used to listen to the podcast episodes on repeat while playing games during Covid. That was pretty piss.

I actually used to watch Rage191. Jason called him out and that was the first video I saw of him lol he was flexing outside of a mall or some shit being egged on by that Jonas dude saying shit like “You calling me a retard? I’m all natural baby! Look at my tom platz wheels and Paul Demayo whatever the fuck.”
This was back when he had like 3k subs. Then in the related videos I saw the one where Richard threatened to cut his head off and shit down his neck and I was hooked. This was before the misfits. Andrews was still filming Jason and producing his videos. This was so far back that I actually used to DM Andrew on YouTube and he’d respond lol. This was honestly the golden era imo. Before the weird fucks like Lou and Pomps got involved. It was just Jason lifting and Big Richard ripping on him. Pure piss mate.

Lol Rage was/is menty as fuck. I remember watching his beef with Ian Mcpoptart. Also Josh foxx was an expert at trolling Giovanni. Some people don’t realize this but way before Andrew knew Genova he actually couldn’t stand him lol

Around 2012. I remember seeing both Jason and Lenny getting posted around but it took me a while to work out they were from the same gym because I remenber that blowing my mind when I found out
2015, I saw lenny posted on r/wtf and comments pointed me towards the delray misfits channel. Still my favorite era.
Ok me too fanbuddy. I was maybe end of 2019 beginning of 2020. I was working from home some cookie cutter job and watching some dude on twitch. His subscriber alert had a big silverback looking creature posing down with a young mentally handicapped boy in the gym. I asked in chat, “who is that?” He graciously answered me and said “that’s big Lenny”. I was then led down a rabbit hole of looking up what is Lenny on YouTube. First video I found of him was him and Jason at the ruby backstage. I was so confused, but I kind of got it. These 2 must’ve joined a body building competition to troll everyone. Nope. They were both 100% delusional and serious. It clicked when I watched the What is Lenny documentary on YouTube, which unlocked a ton of ments, ultimately leading me to binge the entire Delray Misfits channel.
So I can’t say I was around for the actual Jason Genova videos, or DRM as they were coming out. I think when I began to watch it was covid so it was when they were filming at Bradford Manor and doing the last bit of their podcasts. Still, I’m parched like everyone else in the dried up lake cresva and need more.

I am in the same boat as you I can’t remember exactly but I probably first saw them around 2020 or 21 but only past year have really gotten into the old misfit videos and joining the board. The piss never leaves you

It’s not surprising tbh if you see how Jason acts in videos you’d azoooom he acts the same in person if not worse. He is genuinely annoying as fuck at times and you can’t even have a conversation with him.
