Defense is when you send your best PMs to the field to stop the offensive team’s PMs from moving the ball forward unfortunately.
The special teams consist of the guys like kickers, punt returners, and snappers (the guys that throw or snap the ball under their legs to the ball holder or punter) . When the special teams players aren’t needed they are usually sitting on the sidelines thinking about coin historical. They have important high stakes, low volume roles compared to the super star PMs that become household names and get paid astronomical coin historical. It politic bro.

Yeah they don’t get paid as much as the super stars but they’re still making bank because the NFL season is pretty short compared to other pro sports. NFL teams will usually play 17 to 20 games and that depends on if they make through the playoffs to for the Superbowl.
