Exactly this. I used to genuinely like Nate back when he was making videos with Jason. Yeah he was kind of a cookie cutter but I didn’t care, he provided us with content. I never bought into the nate hatred back then (like the people who said he was leeching off the misfits).
But that one podcast was beyond pathetic. He defended her, said that Tyler guy was a “really cool guy” and he gave her the green card only to get fucked over immediately. So much for your shoe collection Nate.

I can go with Nate there because Ian has been pretty consistently a fake depressed lazy bum for a while now. Nate shuts the world out when he faces an inconvenience and goes into sadfag mode. And I actually think Ian has a more realistic bleak worldview whereas Nate just expects whores to love him and his clothes to impress them. When it falls apart, Ian just says “fuck it what else is new” whereas Nate becomes a wreck.
