Yeah, Jay made fun of him every other live after he said that, rightfully so. He destroyed the marriage by putting bodybuilding over his family. Cornelius (who also wrecked multiple of his own marriages) gassed him up as the next big up and coming bodybuilder. Then he competed at shit show Rooby and got 3rd. Still never gave up his delusions and legit thought he could go pro. His wife was probably trying to talk sense into a 35 year old man becoming a bodybuilder for the first time ever, and probably gave him an ultimatum that he ignored. Dale is a complete doofus, I’d put him below Lenny and Jay on the intelligence scale. The only thing he has going for him is his job, which was given to him by someone he knew. Dale’s family is one thing he never appreciated. Look at the guy, he’s a nobody and looks homely and Overweight.
